Excellent cottage, fully equipped including all logs for wood burner and a huge DVD collection and Smart TV. Wonderfully cosy with an excellent all glass conservatory warm enough to watch the rain outside in splendid comfort. Dog friendly, with Mendip walks on the doorstep. No local shop open in October. Local pub dog friendly, though rather expensive. Only reason no "10" for comfort was hard bed, solved by lying on spare quilt.

Lovely peaceful home from home in beautiful Somerset. Pretty Garden and outlook from the sunroom. Wells , local shopping all within 1.5 /2 miles. Clarkes Village shopping precinct whilst a little further afield (Street) is easily accessed and still offers good variety and value. Beware of following Satnav too closely, there are many exciting short cuts best avoided! Ebor Gorge and the Village of Priddy only a short drive from the cottage whilst access to the Somerset way is virtually on the doorstep. Access to Wookey Hole Caves is literally a stones throw at the bottom of School Hill.

We had a lovely time at North Bank, a very comfortable, well equipped and cosy home with a lovely conservatory and garden. We managed to find a parking space nearby most of the time, had to park along the main road in Wookey Hole just once. The main road is only a few minutes walk away.

this cottage was very well stocked with any cooking utensils, pot and pans that you could want. The garden was fine for our 6 month old border terrier, Best location we have ever had everything on your doorstep. Very clean and quiet, nice neighbours to the right, the parking is a bit of a pain when you come home and find you have nowhere to put your car. My only personal moan was no hairdryer and the mirror in the single room should swivle,

Cottage and garden is absolutely gorgeous, with ample room for two adults and a 3 yr old. With Wookey Hole at the bottom of the hill and Wells just 5 minutes away, you have plenty on your doorstep. And more than enough nearby to keep you entertained. Can imagine this would be a treat for walkers too. Parking is 50 metres away, but not an issue at all as you're out of the way from everyone and can potentially drop and pick things up on the doorstep if required (you'll see what I mean when you're there). That's literally the only thing I'd class as a negative. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great holiday, great cottage with all the home comforts. Nice touch with the welcome goodies of cake and fruit. Only let down is the parking, which although was not a problem to me could be with others

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at. North bank everything about it was lovely. Our only criticism would be that the picture shown is actually the back, and the front is not so pretty, we actually wondered if we was at the right address when we arrived. But when we went inside we were nicely surprised.

The position is perfect, being at the bottom of the Mendips but also five minutes from the facilities at Wells. The cottage is surprisingly spacious, and also warm, comfortable, quiet and very clean, with a lot of kitchen equipment; the wifi is very strong. There is a conservatory and attractive garden There is a communal parking area 30 metres away, which usually has spaces, but if it is full it is easy enough to park at the bottom of the hill, a three minute walk; you can load and unload outside the door, and really parking is not a problem Very few cottages supply fruit, fresh flowers, bowls of sweets and chocolates, cake, milk and tea/coffee, which is a sign of the care provided by the owners; there ia also a very good selection of local guides and walk books Overall, we would strongly recommend North Bank

The land lady made us very welcome the day we got and explained all we needed to know. Lovely spot, high up with a good view. The house was ideal with everything at hand. If you needed anything for what ever purpose it was there. at the back there was a conservatory that served as an extra room and caught the spring sunshine. Nice little garden with a pond and a little shed that you could sit in at the bottom. Lovely spring flowers were out as well. Good comfortable bed and easy access to the bathroom. It was a nice touch with the fruit bowl and the sweet tray. The parking although not adjacent was not far away.

A surprisingly very spacious and very homely little cottage. In a lovely location, great for walking in the mendips.

Very well equipped cottage and very clean. Excellent location for touring the area. The local pub served very good reasonably priced food. Would stay again.

Very helpful owners and caretakers (Caretakers helped us when we were snowed in on our last day). Impressed with all the kitchen stuff. We didn't need what we always bring to cottages as it had all the utensils we could have needed. We loved the log fire with unlimited fuel!! There is more room than the photos seem to show - i'd suggest adding more photos of downstairs. Parking was not too much of a problem as long as you know it's a couple of minutes walk away, though you can temporarily park outside to load/unload. Wells nearby had everything you want. A brilliant soft play for our 18m old! Called the Square.

Wow! What a gem. It was Xmas 2018. We arrived to a delightful cottage decorated with lots of twinkly lights, 2 xmas trees (one in conservatory) & low back ground music. There was a M & S xmas cake & mince pies, quality street, a bottle of mulled wine & another of a pink bubbly. There was also a large bowl of fruit and the usual, tea, coffee & milk. Thank you! There was useful cooking oils and other condiments. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm & cosy. There was several folders with loads of useful information including how to get the best from the log burner, where to find vets, supermarkets etc. Also holiday makers remarks on local tourist attractions, costs etc. This was truly a lovely comfortable, clean, well equiped cottage at a reasonable price at Christmas. If we do not return, it is because we like to go somewhere new each time. Thank you for a lovely stay.
