Really enjoyed our stay and we plan to return , would recommend this cottage - spacious, comfortable , well equipped and good value for money . It was great we took the dog with no extra charge and a high chair , travel cot and stairgate were provided - free of charge , the parking is a little tight and not necessarily private parking —however it works well and enables you to park outside the back gate . Nice to smart tv and kitchen very well equipped Thanks for a lovely holiday

My family of 2 adults & 3 older children just came back from a lovely week spent at number 36. The house is very comfortable & spacious. Extremely well equipped with kitchen items. There wasn't much we felt was missing. Parking is a little tight (as mentioned by other reviewers) & car must be moved on bin day, but generally we managed to park fine. Just a couple of points... The Tassimo machine does not work unfortunately. Also the drier did not work. I think the belt needs looking at because although it was heating, it wasn't spinning round. I think a clothes horse for drying clothes may be helpful for some guests. Particularly if they get the horrendous weather we had! Overall we had a very pleasant & comfortable stay and I would recommend to anyone.

Nice house but too many ornaments so not much room to put books etc. Well stocked kitchen, although very small. Amble pleasant, useful shops, but not very interesting.

Although we only spent 2 nights at Number 36 we had a thoroughly relaxing and comfortable holiday. The property is very well equipped. The decor is all lovely, homely and a lot is linked to Amble which is great. We spent the majority of our stay in the back garden using the comfy wooden table and chairs provided. The owners have set it up really nice and you don’t feel like you are sitting in a yard at all!!! Parking is the only potential downside. There is space for 1 car in the back street & you’ve got to park right up against the property. We had 2 cars so left one parked up in the harbour car park and paid the £2.50 all day fee each day. If you are staying for a week that’s not practical. Plus we also had to move the car for a neighbour who was having a skip delivered. It doesn’t put us off as the property more than makes up for this little discrepancy!!! But I always find it best to be aware so I can prepare.

Beautiful little cottage and deceptively spacious inside. Possibly the most well equipped cottage that I have ever stayed in, had pretty much everything I needed. Coffee machine wasn't working as it needed descaling, but there was a cafetiere as well so we just used that. Each room was beautifully decorated, very cosy and comfortable. Lovely town of Amble within walking distance has lots to offer... Loved long dog walks along the rugged beaches and rock pooling with the kids. Close enough for a day trip up the coast to Lindisfarne and other beautiful beaches + castles. Parking is a bit tight around the back but we managed ok. Would definitely return and would recommend to others.

A lovely, welcoming house - a real home from home Very well located within Amble just yards away from the high street and a short walk to the harbour. A welcoming place to go back to after a day away navigating the Northumberland coast. An extremely well equipped for cooking and dining and a lovely relaxing and cosy lounge. Crisp white bed linen in beautifully accessorised bedrooms. A real gem.
