Just spent a weekend in Nutmeg Cottage-spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Kitchenware, furnishings and bed/bedding were all very good quality. It is compact and does not have a garden, though we kept the front door open when it was sunny as it was private enough. Great communication with the owners, who provided a very generous welcome pack. Great location for many beautiful places of interest. Would definitely recommend Nutmeg Cottage.

Cosy and comfortable cottage, well equipped and clean.

    out of 10

Nutmeg cottage is a lovely cosy cottage in an excellent village location. The village itself has a variety of shops and pubs and restaurants. The owners keep the cottage immaculate and there was a welcome pack on arrival with local fresh bread, milk, butter etc . There was juice and milk and wine in the fridge and things like washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets included. Upstairs the bedrooms are made up beautifully with fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The cottage is spotlessly clean with no evidence that dogs are allowed. A lovely place to stay in a great location, highly recommend.

This cottage sets the standard that all owners should aspire to, above all else it was very clean unlike some places we have stayed at in the past. Everything you could possibly need is provided from washing up liquid to very nice home baked bread & lots of other goodies. Can’t recommend this cottage highly enough it was brilliant Tideswell is a lovely Village & people are really friendly & helpful, it is centrally located for most of the interesting places to visit.

This is a lovely cottage and ideal for a short break. It has everything on the doorstep from local pub to fish & chip shop. I'd recommend it to anyone who's visiting the Peak District.
