Enjoy a day out at the historic city of Stirling which can be reached within a 30 minutes’ drive, with lots of popular tourist attractions including Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Heritage Centre. The city centre has a great selection of restaurants, bistros, cafés and bars and The Marches shopping centre provides retail therapy with high street names and local boutiques as well as a sport centre, multiplex cinema, theatre and museum.
Falkirk provides a great selection of tourist attractions, such as the Falkirk Wheel which is the world’s first and only rotating boat lift. The Forth and Clyde Canal is a must to visit as well as the Kelpies at 30 metres tall, the world’s largest equine sculptures, and Callander House and park.
