The master bedroom is in the ‘turret’ space itself, and has a double height pitched ceiling and a standard size double bed and rustic style chandelier light. There is a small cupboard with hanging space on the landing just outside of this room. At the other end of the landing is a second bedroom which is perfect for couples with a small family, this offers a small (4ft wide) double bed and a further single fold out chair bed/mattress, storage and hanging space. The Turret is tastefully decorated in a modern yet traditional style. Please note that there is a fire escape from The Turret master bedroom leading to external steps down to the garden. Ockham Cottages can be found in the historic semi-rural village of Ockham, near Guildford. There are two self catering properties attached to the owners home, part of a former school built in the 1830s. Perfect for a holiday, business trip or short break the cottages are a relaxed and friendly place to stay. Due to the semi rural location occasionally Wi-Fi outages and power cuts occur.

With 240 acres to explore and the UK’s first dedicated horticultural scientific centre of excellence, RHS Hilltop, Wisley has lots to offer all year round. Guildford, the county town of Surrey is situated 8 miles away on the banks of the River Wey. With its castle, cathedral, markets, university, world-class sports facilities and great entertainment, shopping, bars and restaurants, Guildford is well worth a visit, regular trains to Guildford from Horsley station.
