    Bedroom 1: With double bed with single bunk over (for flexible sleeping arrangements).
    Bedroom 2: With double bed.
    Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

    Gas central heating (underfloor in bathroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

    Enclosed terrace with garden furniture. Parking permit for 2 cars included; additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: No children under 18 years old. This property has a security deposit of £100.

    Situated within Berwick-upon-Tweed’s Elizabethan walls, this delightful ground floor apartment has a bright, spacious living room and pretty walled terrace to enjoy. There are lots of great cafés, pubs and restaurants close by, as well as a good local theatre. Walk around the historic walls with views of the River Tweed and the three bridges, explore the ruins of Berwick Castle and learn about life long ago on the much disputed Border between England and Scotland in the Barracks Museum.
    There are boat trips from the harbour along the river or coast, and from Seahouses to the Farne Islands to see puffins and seals galore. Spend a day on tidal Holy Island or explore the awesome cliffs and seabird colonies at St Abbs Head. Edinburgh and Newcastle are each under an hour away by train. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 175 yards.

    This was the best self catering property we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot! It was extremely well equipped and very clean! John has thought of everything! Heating is very efficient and keeps the property warm and cosy. Stunning garden which we couldn't enjoy to the full due to time of year, but enjoyed watching the birds feed through the window! The property is so central , walking distance from all the shops, pubs and the river and beach etc. Parking is very easy, right outside the property. John, the owner is very helpful but not intrusive. Thoroughly recommend this property.

    We really enjoyed staying in Oil Mill Lane - it was so good that the cottage was right in the centre of the town and with parking. And the owner John was very welcoming and helpful.

    Great location with easy walking access to the town and very quiet. The garden was gorgeous and the cottage was extremely clean and well stocked. John was a very gracious host. I would recommend this place for sure.
    The beds were a bit small and uncomfortable for two of us to sleep in together as we are both very tall people.
