Marsden is also home to Stanedge Tunnel and Visitor Centre as well as Marsden Moor Estate which is a haven for walkers. Holmfirth recognised from it’s ’Last of the Summer Wine’ fame and also home to its own vineyard is just 15 minutes away as is the Peak District National Park. For those wanting to venture further afield an hour’s drive will take you to the historic walled city of York Harrogate Leeds or even Skipton which is also regarded as the ’Gateway to the Dales’.
