    Lovely, unusual property. Lots of character and room. A little hard to find however. Quiet and secluded but close to the town so a great balance.

    The cottage/house was lovely and spacious. Great location with lots of local amenities. Bowness shops easily within walking distance. 1 downside was the cleanliness of the place, lots of cobwebs especially in the bathroom. Also a green rim to the shower. Appreciate it is a big house so will take a lot to clean in short amounts of time. Didn't impact our holiday, we had a lovely stay.

    Need to be aware of steps from master bedroom to bathroom. There are three steps down, short corridor and 4 steps up. The stairs are very steep with no hand rail on the last four steps. The towels were dirty and stained. Mould in the fridge which had to be cleaned before use. Contacted the local office to inform them of these issues. Very small kitchen that can only be used by one person at a time.

    Nice property in a good location only 10mins walk to town - roomy and comfortable and clean Only negatives was a narrow kitchen although well equipped but difficult for two to work Would have liked another toilet for 5 person property but overall satisfied
