Loved it! Peaceful, secluded, beautiful scenery!

Although we enjoyed our stay very much, we found the cottage a bit claustrophobic due to lack of windows from living room/kitchen area. The bathroom was freezing and it was a battle to keep it dry. Overall the cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped for its size

You are certainly paying for the location rather than quality of the accommodation. The bedroom and bathroom was very cold even with the central heating on, lots of black mould in the bathroom and in certain areas of the bedroom probably due to the inadequate extraction fan which has to be permanently left on once you have used the shower the bathroom floor is permanently wet which meant you having to put some kind of footwear on even if you just needed to go to the loo some of these issues may not be a problem during the summer months however we stayed at old brewery cottage first week in November and feel that our comfort was compromised due to the expecive and inadequate heating system in the property, no timer on thermostat meant that heating had to be permanently left on or you returned from a day out to a very cold cottage. The kitchen was well equipped but the cleanliness of the microwave was unsatisfactory dryed food on the inside the plate my have been wiped down but the sides and top needed a good clean. The biggest disappointment was on the morning we left the property after stripping the bed to discover that the duvet was covered in some very unpleasant stains including blood not acceptable for any kind of accommodation.

Had a wonderful time in the Old Brewery Cottage.....highly recommended for a fantastic place to stay. I will definitely go back. Next door to a very friendly pub that serves lovely food. Met the owner Kirsty on our departure and she was lovely.

Comfortable and cosy; vey nice modern kitchen but the cooker took some working out. Shower room needs sprucing up to get rid of the mould. When the Henry Hoover was used, it made the whole place smell of dogs. But the wonderful view from the small deck was the crowning glory. We were sad to leave and hope to return next year.

So cozy, and an amazing view. The pub next door was very friendly. Super relaxed, yet lots to do in the area. We loved it!

The cottage is in a stunning location right on the sea shore. It is in a tiny village so we didn't expect there to be much in the way of local amenities however, there was a pub next door and a shop a few miles away which had everything we needed. Seil island is a quirky place quite unlike anywhere we have been before and, because the weather was so good, we didn't leave the island at all and filled our time walking, visiting a garden and taking in the historic slate mining heritage of the area.

This is a delightful cottage with almost everything you could wish for, with a few extra comforts thrown in for good measure. On arrival, we expected to find a clean, well-appointed cottage, that was furnished and decorated to a high standard. What we did not expect, was to find a bbq kit, a bottle of wine, and a small box of chocolates waiting for our arrival. These nice touches complimented what proved to be a very comfortable holiday, with the cottage providing a tranquil and relaxing base from which to explore the beautiful island, and well beyond. The only criticism would be the lack of a dedicated parking space, although there are plenty only a short walk away, so it's no real problem at all. All in all, a fantastic property full of local charm and character, and one which we will highly recommend.

We had a lovely time in this cosy wee cottage. It has everything you would need but I am sure if there was anything missing then Kirsty the owner would happily sort. Our wee dog loved it too. Good walks and she was in the wee boat over to Easdale island which is £2.05 per person and the dog free. Nice walks there. Also visited Luing island and the Atlantic islands centre. The oyster bar next door was ideal for food in the evening and the staff and customers were very welcoming . Would highly recommend this wee place and the area. We stayed 12thMarch 2018 for a week. Weather was good for the time of year. Many thanks to Kirsty. She is lovely and we shall be back. Linda,Brian and Bonny.
