This is the perfect location and cottage for a couple who want to relax and spend time together It’s a very quiet village with essential shops Ceilings and doorways are very low so not for tall people ! But a very beautiful cosy cottage I would not recommend for a family as it’s only small but for a romantic getaway it’s perfect The kitchen and bathroom are a good size also We definitely visit again

We had a lovely time and the cottage was gorgeous. We arrived to a beautiful cosy welcome. The bedding and towels are lush. My 8 and 12 year old also loved it. The surrounding areas were great for family day trips.

Fab cottage. Warm, selflessly clean and had everything we needed. Great little town/ village with pubs, cafe, and the essential shops.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village .The welcome cream tea on arrival was a nice surprise the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable .

A very clean and cosy cottage, with everything required for a 'home from home' stay. Ideally located at the end of the high street. Parking is an issue, you can end up at the other end of the village at busy times. Whilst the cottage was excellent our stay was interrupted daily by the men working on the roof at the property next door (Toll House). They arrived at 7:30 am and worked till at least 7pm even on the Sunday. This meant we were awoken early and could not enjoy the garden or open the curtains as we were overlooked.

Idealic cottage with superb home comforts - 10/10 Cosy and welcoming, clean, with everything you need for a short break. Dog allowed which was great. Cream tea with home made scones and jam was such a lovely start with a personalised card. Quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend a stay here. You would need to travel to get to activities or areas of interest. The Swan very nice pub in town to eat at, and lovely fish and chip bar also. Costcutter and greengrocers in town, otherwise a drive to local supermarket (5 miles). We would definitely stay at Old Dairy Cottage again.
