The property is well situated and full of character. The furnishings, lighting, oven and hot water could all do with some TLC despite these shortcomings we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent base for walking/touring in the Cotswolds. Stow is a very convenient centre. The Barn is old but has been refurbished. It has lots of character and ideal for 8 people with four good sized bedrooms, a huge lounge and an adequate dining/cooking kitchen. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We managed to park four cars tightly in the area outside the barn but clients need to be aware that this area is used for deliveries etc. The lighting arrangements are fine once one gets used to them. The wifi is a bit slow and the Barn could benefit from fast broadband. The owner telephoned us during the beginning of our week and couldn't have been more helpful. Prospective clients should note that the Barn is old and make allowances for that.

Lovely barn in a great location but it is a little tired inside and some of the furniture could do with being updated. We also found the kitchen and 1st floor twin room very dark. The owner was very accommodating and there was a lovely 'welcome' package waiting for us when we arrived. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A rare example of a cottage that really doesn't deliver on the promise. Poor facilities, small beds, slow running water in bathrooms, intermittent electrical supply, very basic furnishings in terms of chairs and tables, kitchen facilities inadequate. The first giveaway was the main entrance door which was insecure, to the extent that we kept our valuables locked in the car!! The outside space was a shared car park area with bins and poorly kept table, chairs and plants. In comparison to other properties in the area, there are much better options which offer far more in terms of comfort and value for money. Disappointing and would not recommend.

An imaginative barn conversion. The first-floor living room and kitchen/dining room most impressive, bedrooms less so. Beds comfortable, but usual holiday-let inadequate storage for clothes. Kitchen equipment fine except for the oven which we never managed to get really hot - it might have helped if there had been some instructions. Plumbing and lighting idiosyncratic, but eventually manageable. The website photo of the front of the barn is a little misleading - the courtyard is essentially a car park. There is no private outside space. All-in-all an enjoyable stay with a few minor niggles.

ideal for our purpose - a short stay for a family get together to celebrate a birthday in Winter. I think it is less suited to longer stays in Summer because of the lack of outside space.
