The Stables is a detached, thoughtfully converted barn in which the original beams provide a wow factor to the main reception room.
The accommodation is all on one level and has been beautifully finished and furnished with a classic feel. Inside, a large open-plan living room and kitchen offer everything you may need to enjoy your stay. Whether you want to hide away and relax or explore the local countryside, The Stables is the perfect place to stay. A coffee machine will help you wake up in the morning whilst taking in the views of the surrounding countryside from outside. The kitchen is well-equipped so that you can cook from home, or should you prefer, you can order a takeaway or eat al-fresco; you also have private use of a BBQ, and outdoor seating for four nestled under a handmade oak pergola with climbing jasmine providing a gorgeous scent at night. This seating, BBQ, and two sun loungers belonging to The Stables also take pride of place in the large courtyard which is shared between this and the adjoining property The Granary. A beautiful tree wrapped in fairy lights takes pride of place in the centre of the courtyard, providing a stunning focal point in the evening. Pots with lavender and lemon trees also fill the courtyard whilst the walls are clad with roses and wisteria.
At the end of the lane is a pub with a few others only a short drive away, there is also a small supermarket. The Stable is situated only a mile away from the village of Peasmarsh and less than a ten-minute drive away from the citadel of Rye there is lots to discover in the local area. Rye offers a great choice of independent and high-street stores, antique shops, bars, restaurants, and even an independent cinema. Rye also boasts a plethora of history with its cobbled streets, museum, and architecture.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 8 guests.
