Boat of Garten is known as the Osprey Village as it is close to the RSPB Osprey Centre where you can see these fascinating birds nesting and hunting over the local lochs. For outdoor lovers, this area is simply paradise with the Speyside Way passing close to the cottage and two golf courses just a few minutes’ drive away. Aviemore is also very close by and offers a wide choice of outdoor pursuits along with an array of shops restaurants and plenty to do. Osprey cottage is a detached property and a rare find for families or friends seeking a fantastic base in which to explore this part of Scotland, littered with rugged landscapes, an abundance of wildlife and plenty of outdoor attractions.
