Fantastic cottage, immaculate and tastefully decorated, we fully enjoyed our stay, it is ideally located for visiting most of the local attractions and destinations. Would highly recommend.

Lovely village and excellent location for exploring the area. Really comfortable cottage and well equipped kitchen. Locally we enjoyed Canterbury, Canoe Wild and found a great farm shop on Sturry Hill just a short drive away. As the description says take care on the stairs and use the well placed hand rails . We would definitely visit again as there is so much to see and do - countryside and coast .

The initial reaction on arriving at Owl Cottage is a disappointment! The rear access to the house is via an overgrown garden, weeds throughout the paved areas and a general feel of an un-cared for property! Attention needs to be given to first impressions when guests arrive. However the inside of the house is pleasantly appealing, if a bit minamalistic and the provision of milk and a bottle of wine much appreciated. We very much enjoyed our time here and the village of Fordwich is attractive. Please consider addressing the unkempt nature of the garden to improve the overall enjoyment of Owl Cottage.
