Pansy Cottage is a quaint detached property located in the heart of the small village of Furnace. The village sits on the side of Loch Fyne, a long deep sea loch renowned for its fantastic wealth of sea life. Over 100 years old, Pansy Cottage was formerly the pump house for the local stone built iron furnace, hence the village’s name. The 150 year old furnace is now a ruin and managed by Historic Scotland. The pump house was converted and extended into a comfortable, cosy home. The lounge/diner has traditional thick walls and a cosy wood burning stove. Leading off from the lounge is the master double bedroom , which enjoys the luxury of en suite facilities. The kitchen is well equipped. The front garden area is south facing and grassy. With close proximity to local amenities, the local village shop provides all the essentials within a gentle stroll. Shop 383 yards and pub 7 miles. The village hall does have a licence and is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
