A great place to stay and walk with the dog from the end of the road. Local pubs in Egton sold quality meals and drinks as did the pub in the village. Always made welcome by the locals and neighbors in the street

An excellent property, one of the best we have stayed in. Very clean, modern and well equipped. Lovely view from decking. Walks from the doorstep for our dog. Shop and butchers very close but pub was too far to walk with a 6 year old and would have been all uphill on way back. Good location for exploring Whitby area and the N.Y. Steam Railway. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and will return.

Once again a great visit to this lovely house in a wonderful spot. Will be looking at booking again for next year. Everything provided and to a high standard. Enough space and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space. Feels just like home only with a better view of hills (we are from Norfolk!) See you in 2020

Gorgeous clean cottage with a beautiful view. Our little girl loved the garden and looking at the horses in the field behind. Great location, close to Whitby. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and has such lovely views. We loved watching two rabbits chasing each other round the field at the back of the house. The house is on a road with a steep gradient so your car must have a good handbrake, but we still give the house 10/10. If you wish to visit Whitby consider catching the train from Glaisdale station. It's a scenic journey and you won't have to worry about finding somewhere to park. If you enjoy quality Pork Pies be sure to visit the Butchers shop in the village.

Lovely place to stay. The photo of the front of the property does not do it justice. Very peaceful location but with loads to do in the surrounding area. The views from the rear of the property are stunning. The property had everything we needed and was spotless. Will definitely be visiting again
