It has been lovingly presented bywhich travels through breathtaking scenery between Middlesbrough and the pop the owners to a particularly high standard with tasteful decoration and furnishings throughout. Patio doors from the lounge open out onto a raised decking area with seating which is a perfect place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the lovely view of the open countryside of the Esk Valley. There is also an enclosed lawned garden below for children to enjoy.\n\nParkview provides a perfect base for couples and families looking to explore both the North York Moors National Park and the heritage coast of Yorkshire. It is also a haven for keen ramblers and cyclists with numerous bridleways and cycle tracks located right on your doorstep. Glaisdale boasts a village shop with small post office a butcher’s shop and a friendly local pub with adjoining cafe. The Esk Valley Railway ular seaside town of Whitby can be accessed at the nearby station in Glaisdale which also stops off at the pretty villages dotted along this route including Danby Lealholm Grosmont and Goathland otherwise known as ‘Heartbeat Country’. You can also catch the North Yorkshire Moors steam train at Grosmont which will take you to the lovely market town of Pickering. The seaside town of Whitby and coastal resorts of Sandsend Staithes Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay are all within easy reach and well worth a visit. Shop 100 yards pub and restaurant 500 yards.     Our 2nd visit to Park View. A lovely property with great views from the deck. Everything you need is provided. Great days out at beaches and country villages within a short drive away. Nice pubs in nearby villages. Have already booked for next year.

    Excellent place to stay, extremely comfortable. A better starter pack would have been appreciated as shops are scarce. The washing up liquid was empty, there was no kitchen till either. Apart from this highly recommended.

    We were really looking forward to our first little weekend away as a family of 4 and upon reading previous reviews we thought this cottage would be perfect. First impressions were good, but once you walk around the property it became apparent to us that it lacked in cleanliness - quite surprising since almost all reviews referred to it being 'spotless'! A lot of spider webs, dusty picture frames, window sills, there was mould around a window frame in the twin room, which could have been easily cleaned up with some bleach. Kettle really needs a good clean inside - not pretty sight. The cooking pans need replacing as I think they aren't safe since the teflon has substantially peeled off and is exposing a lot of aluminium. The blinds in the kitchen are very dirty and kitchen units (especially the hood extractor one) also need a clean. There was also a cheese grater that still had some cheese on left in the drawer. The bedding & towels need to be washed on a high temperature. Sofa could do with being cleaned also. I don't usually leave negative reviews but I really hope the owners read this and can rectify. We just couldn't really relax. It really needs a deep clean! I understand it is pet friendly but that should be one extra reason to keep on top of cleanliness. Location is great for exploring North Yorkshire/Whitby, etc. Lovely views from the cottage.

    We had a lovely week at Park View. The cottage was really nice and we loved the open plan living area and the balcony with wonderful views. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and bright with great views due to picture windows. The downstairs area is ideal if 2 couples (4 adults) coming to stay as both couples get their own bathrooms and living space. We did quite a few walks from the cottage, taking in Lealholme and Egton Bridge. Lovely local pubs which were really dog friendly and had great food. I would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return again.

    A great place to stay and walk with the dog from the end of the road. Local pubs in Egton sold quality meals and drinks as did the pub in the village. Always made welcome by the locals and neighbors in the street

    An excellent property, one of the best we have stayed in. Very clean, modern and well equipped. Lovely view from decking. Walks from the doorstep for our dog. Shop and butchers very close but pub was too far to walk with a 6 year old and would have been all uphill on way back. Good location for exploring Whitby area and the N.Y. Steam Railway. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and will return.
