This is a lovely little cottage hidden away behind the market square. No parking but the parking permit supplied meant this was not an issue. The outside seating is useful despite not being private or secure for the dog. We had difficulty with the television as it was operated via a fire stick which we are unfamiliar with. The friendly neighbours helped us with this as did the owner when contacted.

Lovely cottage in a great location for the town centre shops, pubs etc. Good to have a parking permit for local car park too. So much to see and do in Richmond, would definitely return.

This cottage isn’t what they advertised. The cottage it’s self is lovely and seems to be decorated nicely but there are a few things I feel you should make your customers aware of before booking. The ceilings are very low in this cottage and for me it was very small and awkward and a hazard as I am tall. The stairs are both uneven and if you are unaware of this it is dangerous. There was an awful smell in the bedroom which I couldn’t pin point but it was a smoky/Ash smell I’m not sure if it was the quilt, pillows or mattress but it was a really unpleasant smell. Which made my stay uncomfortable and questioning the cleansiness of the property. The property is advertised with a patio/garden this isn’t the case. This is located at the front of the house where the neighbours park their cars and there is a bed of slate stones with a garden bench placed in front of the front window. Which isn’t a patio/garden you can relax in. Overall I was disappointed. I think you should clearly advertise your property and be upfront about few other points, it’s got potential but if I had known the above I wouldn’t of ever booked here because it wasn't suitable for us.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parky Mews, the neighbours and owners are very friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was the lack of secure outside space for our dog

Lovely cottage everything we needed was there, the welcome hamper was great! really close to all the amenities and parking was fine on the long stay car park. It would have been better if the little garden was fenced off for the dogs as we couldn't leave the door open or they would have been off ! Could have done with live TV instead of I player though.

To some "A quirky terraced cottage with character "will mean small and awkward . Yes the stairs requiring caution as they are somewhat hazardous: The property is in a good location with the market square (And for dogs the riverside walks) just around the corner. Good dog friendly pubs with beer gardens on your door step. Parking permit for a near by long stay car park was a bonus . You can off load first then park up . A short stroll to the car park near the cricket ground . Note you have to off load/load at the bottom or the ramp outside the property. Access poor. Top floor bed room and bath room. Middle floor lounge (Gas fire disconnected. Pity as it would have been more cosy) Ground floor kitchen with sofa and log burner.(first logs included) Pull out table not ideal but trays in front of the TV/Log burner was ok for a couple of night. To us ideal and had a good stay. Would recommend.

Beautiful cute and quirky home well equipped and can’t beat the location. Perfect. Only thing missing is a view and it has a tiny front garden but the beautiful river and park is about a 3 minute walk. There is no parking but you manage just fine by using the the car park which your given a free permit for. It’s a 5 minutes walk. Perfect forca couple wanting to be near bars and restaurants too. I would go back without any hesitation.

Incredibly well placed in the centre of Richmond with so much within a short walk as well as longer walks on offer. A very warm welcome for our canine companion too. Surprisingly quiet for the location. The access for dropping off luggage and packing away is quite a challenge but the clarity of instruction about parking once you got there was great. Definite quirky as a cottage the stairs are not for the fainted hearted but then neither are the local hills!

Felt concerned there was only one front door key as I locked the door when I went out leaving my husband upstairs locked in. Parking not ideal.

Absolutely beautiful cottage! Loved everything about it. The only reason I’ve rated 9 overall instead of 10 is just due to the fact it would have been nice to park by the house and also have a little enclosed grass garden for the dog to go to the toilet in. Otherwise fantastic location and accommodation!
