Clean cosy cottage in a great location. Small kitchen fits one person but has everything. Only downside: cold showers in the morning, difficulty heating water. Great amenities in Tideswell, bakery, Co-op, etc (fish and chip shop worth a visit!). Easy drive to main roads.

We have throughly enjoyed our stay at Parsley cottage in Tideswell, an excellent village with lots of amenities. We did find the kitchen a bit small but it provided everything we needed. This didn’t affect our enjoyment of our holiday especially as we ate out a lot anyway because of the good choices of eating places in Tideswell. We did find it a bit dark sometimes in the living room but only at the end nearest the kitchen. However on the days that the weather was good we got the late afternoon/ evening sun through the front window which was nice. Sometimes we missed having a garden to sit out in but again this didn’t spoil our holiday. We found the cottage very comfortable and clean and we shall not hesitate to book again if we want to stay in this area.

A Little Gem.... What a Testament to the owners. Nothing but thought for everyones needs has gone into this. Treats, A comfy bed and linen and a warm welcome was had. Three/four pubs on your door step that take dogs. A local co-op, bakers, cafe, bistro and pharmacy... Plenty of places to visit a short drive away. We would recommend to everyone, but then we might not get in again, as it would be full up. Haha

Wow! What a truly amazing cottage. Thank you so much to Lindsey & Stuart for making our 29th Wedding Anniversary so special. Your gifts of prosecco, beer, milk, juice, fresh bread, butter, jams & cookies were just perfect. The bed was really comfy & pillows were great. The towels were white & fluffy & the bathroom products smelled amazing. The cottage was snugly & warm plus the log burner was fab. The kitchen had everything you could ever need including washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob & oven. There was also tea, coffee, sugar plus coffee for the caffeiteir that's provided, salt, pepper, wash tablets, soft rinse & dishwasher tablets. There were also games & a bluetooth speaker. This cottage is absolutely immaculate & 1st Class in our opinion, we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much once again for making our stay just perfect! Love Jane & Wayne xx

Fantastic place. Beautifully decorated with very thoughtful details about the place (the Bread and jam were particularly lovely). Bathroom soaps, towels, bed and sheets gave a hotel quality feel to the stay. Lindsay the host was also very welcoming. Would highly recommend.
