Located in the grounds of the owners’ elegant farmhouse, the cottage is perfectly located to explore the ’Garden of England’, a phrase first used by Henry VIII due to the acres of orchards and hop gardens in the pretty county of Kent. Within an easy drive, you have the historic market town of Faversham, the medieval City of Canterbury and the coastal town of Whitstable, famous for its oysters.
Walkers will be spoilt for choice with the wide number of circular walks, and charming country pubs.
Inside the cottage is a comfortable and cosy sitting room with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and two bedrooms plus a bathroom upstairs.
The large garden is shared with the owners but the seating area outside the cottage is nice and secluded for a quiet breakfast in the sunshine, or a lovely cream tea in the afternoon, surrounded by trees and wildlife. What could be more relaxing...
