These spacious holiday cottages, finished and fitted to a very good standard, have been thoughtfully designed keeping some original features. Set down a quiet country lane, a short drive from historic Bodmin, and around a courtyard where chickens roam freely, they have country views. A short walk across the owner’s fields and footpath leads to the station where the popular Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway runs to Bodmin with its historical jail, shops, restaurants and pubs. From the station at Bodmin Parkway you can walk to NT Lanhydrock House.
From the cottages you can walk to the Camel Valley Vineyard to sample and purchase the local wines. Within walking distance is the local pub and the Camel Trail, a level disused railway line, with an abundance of wildlife along the Camel Estuary which is ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riding enthusiasts. The properties are ideally situated to visit the North Cornwall coastal resorts of Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, and Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Close by are the South Cornwall coastal resorts of Fowey, Looe and Polperro, or take a trip to the famous Eden Project. A short drive away is unspoilt Bodmin Moor, Rough Tor and Brown Willy. Golf, horse riding and fishing are all nearby. Beach 11 miles.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests.
