If you don't know Aberdaron or the Lleyn and you like wild natural beauty a bit away from the business of other holiday destinations, then this cottage may be just right for you. It's a big, warm and comfortable place but the setting is what makes it magical. The farmhouse stands alone overlooking the southern end of the bay. You can walk down to the remote end of the beach through the sheep fields. The ever-changing light on the waters in the bay, and in the evenings the sunsets over Anelog to the north are unforgettable. If you arrive and there is low cloud and you can't see for fifty yards, do not despair. The weather changes quickly due to the sea breeze. You are likley to wake up to brilliant sunshine. Anne is a friendly and helpful hostess. Aberdaron is the kind of place that once people have discovered, if they like it, they return year ater year. Penrhyn Mawr carries with it a sense of the local history of the people and area.

Very enjoyable holiday, away from it all. Cottage would benefit from having a BT landline - mobile communication almost non existent.
