This is one of the best lodges we have stayed in. Very spacious and well decorated. Everything you need in the cupboards and draws and plenty of clothes storage in wardrobes and chest of drawers. Dave who owns the site works very hard and makes sure everything is ok and explained how to use hot tub when we got there. Outside the lodge is kept lovely as well with the grass area and a rotary line on the side and a parking space on the side. There's only one line of lodges that over look the field which is good as you are not overlooked by other lodges opposite. We were able to take our two little doggies which is always a plus. Hot tub is really good and has steps to get into and at night fairy lites are around the lodge which is a nice touch. After first week the cleaner changes bed linen and replaces all dirty towels with fresh ones and there are plenty supplied and Dave collects all the bins. The decking on this has been extended and has a huge table, bench and chairs as well as two wooden deck chairs also so plenty of seats. There's a range of games in lounge draws and storage cupboard to keep you entertained and camping chairs to take to the beach. Theres a washer dryer which is a plus. Theres two bathrooms so it doesn't feel like you are under each others feet and because most of the lodges are owned there's sense of community. There's three lakes that you can walk down a path to and i would definitely recommend a visit to the Birds of Prey onsite as its superb and has twice daily displays. You pay £10 and can go as many times as you like. Its not just birds of prey but other animals also and really well kept and a small gift shop with snacks. We were lucky enough to be able to walk it from our lodge. Location being next to a road didn't bother us as we live next to a town and ring road anyway but might be a problem to others. We had no problem with wi fi or tv signal like we did at another site last year and you get sent an email with the code for your key and a key fob to come and go through the gates. Lovely and quiet for us and very modern. You do need to jump in a car to visit places like Padstow, Newquay, Mawgan Porth etc.. but that didn't bother us. They do a park and ride down the road to Padstow which we would advise you to do as Padstow is really busy and you don't have to struggle to park and is £5 per car. The bus takes you down and only about 5 mins and you catch it where it dropped you off. All in all a fantastic lodge and would definitely recommend and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. Thank you. I would put the same review on trip advisor but i don't think i can?

We had a lovely week staying at Peregrine Lodge. The lodge is in the perfect location for travelling to Newquay and Padstow in particular. It’s very spacious and well-equipped, as well as being decorated beautifully! We particularly enjoyed having a hot tub and outdoor space on the decking. We will definitely staying again when we are in the area!
