    Kitchen area: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
    Separate toilet.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 1: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
    Bedroom 2: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request).
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

    Second Floor:
    Bedroom 3: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and single bed.

    Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack.

    Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.

    Situated in the pretty harbour village of Portpatrick and only 75 yards from the seafront, beach and harbour, this terraced property is in an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful south west coast of Scotland. Boasting a stunning coastline with sandy beaches, rugged shingle beaches, rocky coves and windswept cliffs, the area is a walker’s paradise. The Southern Upland Way passes close by and offers everything from gentle walks to challenging hikes and there are many coastal villages to explore in the area. The town of Stranraer is 6 miles and offers supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pubs and the Castle of St John.

    Wildlife is abundant with many unusual species including pine martens, golden eagle, ospreys, red deer, red squirrels and the natterjack toad. At the southern tip of the Rhins Peninsula you will find the RSPB Mull of Galloway Visitor Centre which is well worth a visit, with thousands of nesting sea birds on the cliffs in season. Climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse and be rewarded with breathtaking views. There is also a gift shop and café. At the northern tip of the Rhins Peninsula is Corsewall Lighthouse, which has a restaurant and bar. Also worth a visit is Logan Botanic Garden where many tropical species of plants and trees thrive due to the warming influence of the Gulf Stream.

    There is sea fishing from Portpatrick and both trout and salmon fishing close by. Other country pursuits are available including shooting and riding. A golf course is available at Dunskey. For the more adventurous, day trips to Ireland can be taken by ferry from Cairnryan. Beach 75 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

    Islay can be booked together with Iona (ref UK5772), Skye (ref UK5773), Jura (ref UK5774) and Bute (ref UK5775) to accommodate up to 28 guests.

    Our holiday was fantastic, port patrick is a fabulous place to stay,plenty of places to visit.the cottage was home from home and had everything you could need and i would certainly recommend it

    We only stayed 3 nights and had to pay for a whole week. All the other properties were empty so it was not exactly in demand. That said, it was great for our short break. Improvement could have been made with the plumbing- toilets didn’t flush well and the floors were very creaky. It was however, spotlessly clean and great location for walking. The small local shops were so close and supplied a good range of items. Overall a very pleasant short break
