Preswylfa is a lovely cottage perfectly situated to explore the delights of North Wales. It is very well equipped with a beautiful kitchen and plenty of room considering it’s a quarrymans cottage. The bedrooms are large with big beds and plenty of linen and blankets. There is a garden at the back which is on a rather steep incline but then what do you expect in North Wales! There are fabulous views from the front and rear of the cottage too.

Great location for exploring snowdonia region , cottage was very clean , the old fashion decor would not suit everyone , quite dark in poor weather and the bedrooms were a bit creepy ,having said that the beds were very big and comfortable , its just the loads of old religious pictures on the walls and darkness of rooms that made sleeping there unsettling. the positives were the kitchen and toilet/shower room were modern and very well equipped with everything you could need ,including fast sky Wi-Fi + TV . I suppose it is in character for the area , but wasnt completely comfortable with the decor.

Really enjoyed our weeks stay. Beautiful cottage with stunning views. Neighbours lovely and helpful. Cottage had so much character. My 10 year old didn't want to leave. Peaceful and relaxing. Thank you so much.

Peaceful cottage in an inspiring setting. Room for family of four, lovely garden, with real characterful interior. Easy access to snowdon and surrounding lakes and walks as well as the beach. Cozy nights in! Off street parking is on a very busy road but there is a lay by up the road where you can park more safely.

A very nice cottage, very comfy, with a lovely garden, offering a very pleasant stay. We would only strongly suggest to add lights in the living room and in the TV room (there was a comment in the welcome guide saying other guests did the same remark and wondering if they had found how to switch on all the lights : we did find them, but the lights were really too weak, especially by raining days or on the evenings). And a small comment: there was rust in the inside of the kettle, it needs to be renewed.

Book for just 4 nights for a very last minute break. The cottage is a traditional slate miners cottage furnished with some very nice antique furniture and art works. Has a pretty back garden, the front of the property leads stright onto a road which isnt overly busy but vehicles do drive very fast along. In a good area for exploring Snowdonia away from the busy areas so is nice and peaceful.
