When you enter the property, you are immediately drawn to the exposed original oak beams in the living room and the fantastic spiral staircase. The kitchen/dining room is well-equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker and microwave. The dining table has seating for up to four guests. The living room offers a space for relaxing after a day of exploring with two sofas, Smart TV, various books to read and an Amazon Echo.
As you climb the charming metal spiral staircase you are welcomed into a large King size bedroom with views across open fields. The bathroom has a bath with rainfall shower head attachment, toilet and basin. Outside there is space to sit in is a shared garden space where you can enjoy a drink or meal under the stars.
For the walkers among us this really is a place to start exploring: with miles of countryside walks, bridlepaths and cycle-friendly lanes there are many hidden treasures to find. The market town of Sherborne is a 15-minute drive away, where you can explore the beautiful history of the Sherborne Castle and Sherborne Abbey or enjoy a relaxed day in the local shops, bars and restaurants. The National Trust – Cerne Giant is an 18-minute drive away; this is a sight to be seen and walks around this area are not to be missed. However, if you are looking for the day out to remember you can take a trip to Dorset’s Famous Jurassic Coast Line which runs from Poole Harbour all the way to Lyme Regis and beyond. Visiting sites such as the famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, there are many activities and walks to enjoy this outstanding coastline.
