Please note There are 7 steps and a 25 yard path to the property and 6 steps in the garden.Located in the heart of the medieval village of Dunster this well-appointed detached bungalow is very well positioned to enjoy all the delights that Dunster and this stunning part of Somerset have to offer. Situated in a quiet back street this holiday property is within easy walking distance of all the local shops restaurants and pubs as well as Dunster Castle NT. During early December the Dunster Candlelight Festival is well worth a visit. There are many highlights to enjoy during your stay in the area. Minehead is home to the main station for the famous West Somerset Steam Railway which travels along the coast before heading inland to Bishops Lydeard. This seaside resort also offers a beach and promenade where you can enjoy a stroll and an ice cream. There are regular bus services along the coast to such highlights as Porlock Lynton and Lynmouth. If you are coming with children a day ticket can be purchased for Butlins on the seafront. There is some great walking to be done in the area on both the South West Coast Path and within Exmoor National Park. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor.     A wonderful, spacious, well equiped bungalow with secure enclosed garden. Really comfy beds in a wonderful location. Yes several steps to the bungalow but no problem. Parking on lane, but we always found a space. Very clean, had all the facilities that we required.

    Spacious, bright and clean accommodation within easy walking distance of both West Street and High Street areas of Dunster, also close to the start of several footpaths on to the moors. The only issue is parking, as there is no reserved space and room for only 4 or 5 cars in the narrow St Georges Street. A couple of times this was full, but we found space round the corner in Priory Gardens where the yellow lines have almost worn away because they are parked on so often.

    The bungalow is very close to all amenities in Dunster but if you are not able bodied you might find the steps and footpath to the bungalow difficult as there is is no parking attached . However if you Google earth you can easily see the situation and there was only one day when we couldn't park easily due to school collection time. The bungalow is spacious, well equipt and comfortable. What let it down was the floors not being as clean as they should be, the garden needing attention and the outside paintwork, door and window seals were not clean with cobwebs and dust everywhere. The crockery was from IKEA which was fine but it was badly scratched and needed replacing. If those problems could be addressed, then we would love to return.
