This bright, airy and spacious first floor holiday apartment is in a Grade II listed Victorian building, on the exclusive north end of Southport’s main promenade. A small block of just four apartments, the location is ideal for those wanting to be just minutes’ from the abundance of attractions that Southport has to offer. Perfect for people watching, directly opposite you’ll find Southport Theatre and Convention Centre, which presents a year round calendar of events from opera to children’s entertainment.
The apartment also overlooks Marine Lake, where you can enjoy a host of water based activities such as pedalos and motor boats. Also nearby are the traditional seaside amusements arcade of Silcocks Funland, which also marks the start of Southport’s iron pier. Grade II listed, the pier stretches for around ½ mile and has been standing for over 150 years! A walk to the end will be rewarded with magnificent views across the North West, Blackpool and even when clear, the North Wales coast. King’s Gardens, a 17-acre garden with adventure playground and tea room is around a 5-minute walk, as is Southport’s famous Lord Street for those wanting to shop, wine and dine. Finally Southport is home to 22 miles of glorious coast, with the beach around a 15-minute walk. Outside of Southport both Liverpool and Blackpool, are easily accessible in around an hour and Southport has its own train station ½ mile from the property. Beach ¾ mile. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 160 yards.
