No smoking.\n This small ground floor studio apartment is situated on the banks of the picturesque canal in the very centre of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon. The area offers a magical blend of heritage and drama in and around Shakespeare’s home town. This is an ideal holiday base for anyone wishing to enjoy Stratford’s attractions. It is near to theatres including the worlds largest classical theatre company shops and historic houses exhibitions and great traditional markets. Open-topped buses offering conducted tours of the town leave from nearby and boats may be hired at the local River Avon basin. The studio overlooks the narrow-boat moorings alongside a canal-side pub which offers Wi-Fi. A car is not required in Stratford but there are plenty of interesting places to visit in the surrounding countryside.     Had everything we needed. location was excellent, just a short walk to the town centre. Allocated parking space was great as we didn't have to worry about where to park when we came back each day.

    We stayed here over Christmas (again) and did not regret it. The central location makes it the perfect base, the main Theatre and Bridge Street shops each being only 3 or so minutes walk away. Despite being in a cul-de-sac directly off the main circulatory system and in the shadow of the Bridgefoot multi-storey car park, there is hardly any traffic noise and the location is generally quiet. (This was during Christmas week, so we can't say if that would be true during a normal working day). There was no disturbance either from the pub across the road or from the one directly opposite on the other side of the canal. The dedicated parking space is invaluable. We welcomed the appearance this year of a new electric cooker which proved to be efficient and easy to clean. The main point to be aware of is that the apartment is tiny, with only a galley cooking area and limited wardrobe space, but that is part of its appeal. Our only grumbles this time were that we arrived late at night to find it a bit under-equipped and next day had to buy tea-towels, kitchen paper and extra toilet rolls as well as having to re-wash all the glasses and crockery. We also had to deal with parts of the toilet/shower-room which the cleaner had missed. As was the case last year, the hot water system was a bit feeble till we worked out how to deal with it. But for all that, the superb location of Puck's Place at a reasonable price outweighs these niggles.

    Ideal get away spot for couples. Close to town but still quiet and peaceful at night. Idylic views of the wildlife and overall a very charming and comfortable property.

    Great place to stay. Very comfortable with everything I needed. Very central for town centre and public transport with the railway station just a 15min walk away. Would definitely stay at Pucks Place again.

    Pucks place was lovely and cosy, it had everything we needed. Close to stratford centre and all the local sites. And a super pub nearby too. Would definitely recommend.

    Great location by the canal basin. Perfect for visiting the RSC and other local attractions and easy to find when arriving by car. The property is compact and a bit dated decor-wise and is just about big enough for a couple on a short break. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would happily book again.
