Our third time at Quantock Rise and it didn't dissappoint. After a long day visiting the area, the quiet and serene location of the cottage, not to mention the hot tub, is a welcome respite.

Cottage was very clean indeed and everything you need is there, except a phone signal and wifi. We weren't impressed with the location of the hot tub and the little courtyard wasn't upto much. Might have been nice to have seen the owners who live next door just to say hello but they didn't pop in at all during our week there. Nice but wouldn't stay again.

Fantastic stay at the dreamy little cottage. We were looking for a little secluded getaway and the cottage was perfect for a romantic weekend away. Perfect decoration very cute and clear communication with the owner. The hot tub added to the whole experience and the lovely horses at the back came to say hello. Some of the reviews said WiFi would be good but personally putting down the phones and getting in touch with natures and each other is marvellous and soul refreshing

This was our 2nd visit and was just as relaxing as the 1st time. It’s comfy and clean and has everything you need. Hot tub and log fire was amazing. If it had WiFi it would be even more perfect. Would definitely recommend this place!

The photos do not do this cottage justice! The hot tub is now enclosed in a wooden hut open at the front to allow views over the fields and to allow you to make us of it in the rain. It’s at a fab temperature and we brought our slippers and fluffy dressing gowns to wear in and out. The beds... oh my word .... THE best beds we have ever slept on away from home!! I’ve just had spinal surgery and I can tell you from experience!!! The log burner is the added bonus too. Although I would have liked to have had the convenience of purchasing extra wood from the owner as we had to hunt about to find anywhere that had any in stock! We had read reviews before we went so did bring our own kitchen knives and a few bits but really most things were there in the cottage. My advice would be to do a shop on way to cottage. Or see if Tesco (other supermarkets are available!) would do a internet shop and delivery. We will definitely recommend and definitely return. Thank you Gloria x

Quiet, rural, well eqipped and very relaxing cottage. Added bonus of no Wi-Fi. Great walks in easy reach. Hot tub was brilliant. Just such a shame we didn't realise it was dog friendly, our spaniel would have loved it!

Wonderful 'off the track' property in the heart of Somerset countryside. Well equipped, clean and tidy. As stated in the property specifications, there is NO WIFI available on site, and limited cellular connectivity, so be aware of this when booking. Ample parking for two vehicles with easy access to road. Strong recycling culture so be prepared to sort your rubbish into different bins. Limited local facilities, expect to drive a minimum 10-20mins depending on what you need, with Bridgwater being the nearest large town. Living room and bedroom comfortably decorated, kitchen well equipped with working washing machine and fridge-freezer. Although there is plenty of cooking facilities and equipment, there is limited food storage available. Back opens up on to a small courtyard with steps to a gravel patio and partially enclosed hot tub. Hot tub suitable for up to 6 people, fully functional and relaxing. Although candles are not allowed inside the property, id recommend bringing some tea light candles to put in the holders available in the hot tub enclosure. Also recommend bringing some disposable spa slippers as the ground surrounding the hot tub isn't nice to walk bare foot on! There is a log burner in the property, which we didn't use, does come with enough logs for single use, further uses you will need to purchase more wood. Guest information could be more comprehensive, be sure to check guest feedback book inside cover for information on local facilities available. Property owner was nice enough to provide a selection of local walks inc maps to try if you are interested. All in all I would thoroughly recommend the property, but be sure though that the lack of connectivity on site suits your lifestyle.

We enjoyed staying at quantock rise comfortable and clean our recommendations would be to provide an oven glove as using tea towel to use oven difficult and as hot tub up steps outside more than two towels would have been good or bathrobes. The metal steps going to hot tub slippery and maybe need attention overall a lovely holiday
