The property is well located and a easy base to travel from for day trips. We especially enjoy Porlock and Dunster. The house was generally very comfortable and the hot tub was a great bonus. Few small negatives however. One of the beds hadn’t been made for some reason. The kitchen had no knives which was difficult as we did a large food shop before realising this. We asked the owner for one who left it 3 days before saying she “forgot but it’s too late now”. Not ideal as we have a baby so preparing her food wasn’t easy and lots of our food went to waste. We will definitely be back to Somerset however, it’s a beautiful area.

Beautiful well equipped cottage with added bonus feature of a sheltered hot tub. Provided a perfect base for exploring the local area both on foot in the walks into the hills as well as driving to local towns and beaches. Can't wait to come back.

Just got back from the best week with my fiancé here. Was one of the nicest places I have stayed, surrounded by beautiful surroundings. Was both clean and comfortable and could not fault a thing

This is my third time here and as always it's a brilliant little place. Only downside is a lot of the local attractions are closed during the winter months.

OK ish. Amazed more kindling/wood not provided. Cheap Argos furniture. Comfy bed and nice hot tub. Seemed unreasonably over protective of cats who were lovely and friendly

Will return! The hot tub is AMAZING! The location was exactly what we were after. We’ll definitely be back! Just be aware if it’s important to you that EE & virgin have very poor/intermittent phone reception in the area and there’s no wi-fi in the cottage

Absolutely loved our stay and was amazed by value for money with the private hot tub. The main issue for us was lack of wifi but I understand this would not be a problem for others. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely surroundings. Amazing hot tub though the stones were hard on the feet getting in and out. Mattress was awful so sleep was little but it was a restful location so wasn't too bad being tired. TV had a life of its own and it would've been nice to have the door open except for the owners cats constantly trying to get in and we're not cat people. Wasn't the worst break but wasn't the best. Would return to the area but not to that cottage
