The Rectory Cottage was an amazing place to stay. It was furnished to a very high standard. It was very clean and there was everything you could need. The rooms was very comfortable and spacious. Beds was amazing and very comfortable. Everything from the booking to the meet and greet and checking in and out was so easy. The little surprises that had been left was much appreciated. Couldn’t have asked for any more.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in lovely surroundings

We spent February half term at this fabulous cottage. The heating was already on for our arrival which was lovely. Great welcome pack and a delicious homemade cake awaited us (thank you Tracy) The weather sadly wasn't kind to us on some day but we wasn't bothered at all as we had lots of board games with us which enabled some good quality family time. The dog enjoyed all the new smells of the enclosed garden, as well as some lovely long walks nearby. Great night's sleep in the super comfy beds. Overall the most relaxing break I've had in a long time from start to finish, great log burner and hot tub. My favourite room has to be the conservatory which was always warm due to the underfloor heating. We as a family of 3 and a dog would definitely recommend this cottage and would 100% book here again.

A lovely, well equipped, presented and comfortable cottage in a good location. An excellent holiday, can't wait to return!!

Lovely last minute retreat for my husband’s birthday. Although we took some supplies with us nothing was needed. Big comfortable bed and immaculate hot tub. Will definitely book this little beauty again. A bonus that our dog was welcome 🥰

Fantastic cottage, great service and wonderful touches. Only point for the owners is that batteries were missing from remotes so we had to keep swapping them. Not a big issue and something they are probably not aware of. Great stay overall.

Rectory Cottage is charming , this was our second stay [ group of ladies x 4 ] and we hope to return again next year ! We have scored high for local amenities as it suits our requirements , the cottage is located just outside the village and is very private and not overlooked , perfect for a well earned rest . The hot tub is fantastic [ attended to each morning by staff to ensure everything was well ] The welcome pack was very generous , and the homemade cake was delicious thank you Tracy ! The log basket was very well stocked and we used the log burner each night . The fixtures and fittings are of good quality and well maintained. My friend left a piece of jade , that she uses on her face and it was returned via registered post as soon as I requested the possibility of its return , thank you so much for understanding . This cottage is a gem !

We were a group of 4 friends having a chill weekend before the Christmas rush! What a perfect place this was for exactly that. Peaceful, not overlooked, only just over a mile to a train station which meant a day trip to lincoln without the hassle of driving and parking. The cottage is beautiful and so cosy with underfloor heating on the ground floor, 3 wc's and a conservatry. The log burner was fired up on the sunday afternoon after our walk back from lunch at the golf club and we enjoyed a film on netflix. The kitchen is the highest spec and quality of kitchen ware I've seen in a rental. After walking, shopping and hot tub we collapsed into the very comfortable king size beds. 11/10 I would certainly recommend.

What a perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Everything really was thought of here, from the cake on arrival to all the extra touches like towels for the hot tub! The under floor heating downstairs at this time of year was incredible as well. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough. A village was only a few minutes drive away and Lincoln easy to get to so perfect if you fancied a day out. We had even left something behind by accident and it’s kindly being posted back to us. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. I look forward to staying again!

We have just spent a perfect week at rectory cottage. All details have been thought of! We were so comfortable here, we settled in as soon as we arrived and were gutted when it came to home time! We came here with our daughter (8) and our beagle, the secure garden was brilliant for her she would spend hours sniffing the garden and barking at passing pheasants! We used the hot tub each day and also the log burner. Blankney walks was fabulous for walking the dog. We also went to nearby Metheringham for afternoon tea at Tilly’s tea & gift shop which we highly recommend! We spent a day in Lincoln city walking around the cathedral with our dog and there’s plenty of dog friendly pubs around! We will most certainly be back to the cottage as soon as we can. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful break. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. Welcome pack and hot tub were great, close to Lincoln and lots of places to visit nearby.

A lovely cottage. Well equipped and spotless. The hot tub was used every day and the fact you have two separate living areas was great as it meant everyone could have some space. A quiet area which was very relaxing and our dog enjoyed her walks and the safe enclosed garden. The homemade cake left for our arrival was delicious.

We enjoyed a very comfortable few days with everything we could wish for in terms of comfort and cleanliness. It was so lovely and quiet there and the beds amazing. Best sleep we have had for ages! The only thing we had a bit of a problem with was the plumbing. The on-suite basin taps leaked sideways and had little pressure. We could not get a good temperature in that shower so used the other one in the bathroom. The bathroom basin had such strong pressure that it nearly flooded over the side. All ok once we got used to it but the first evening was a bit difficult. Otherwise a perfect break. Thank you
