  • About Regent House - Biscay

These fabulous apartments, with stunning views across the Exe estuary (Portland has limited views), were once the home of Captain George Peacock born in 1805, a celebrated mariner, inventor and surveyor who invented the first workable screw propeller, devised a way of making drinking water from sea water, and charted the waters and land that would eventually lead to the construction of the Panama canal.
