Rolls Cottage was absolutely perfect for our long weekend away in Whitstable. It is in a perfect location for the High Street and the seafront. The cottage has 3 good sized bedrooms, one with a small ensuite. The family bathroom is off the kitchen and utility room, so a bit of trek from the first floor bedrooms, but not too onerous! It's a good size. Plenty of hot running water. A well equipped kitchen and a good utility room with back door entrance for when it's raining outside and everyone needs to dry off before going in the main house. A lovely cosy front room with fireplace for a real log fire. Perfect on a chilly October night. We loved everything about our stay.

A great location ,but not if you intend using a car every day as there is no parking on site and the roads around are extremely narrow and busy. Having said that we parked up and there are plenty of walks, buses and trains to use to take away that worry.

The cottage is lovely and it felt spacious. The outside space was a good size, though some sun loungers would have been welcome. My double bed on the first floor was very comfortable unlike the twin beds and their lumpy mattresses. I also didn't like having to go downstairs if I needed the toilet during the night. I will definitely bear this in mind for any future bookings. The house is in a fantastic location just a short walk to the sea and all the lovely shops. It was great to have some milk on our arrival and although the wine was appreciated, I think the money spent would be better used on toilet rolls and rubbish bags. For the amount charged for a week providing 1.5 toilet rolls for 2 toilets and 5 people staying for a week is very stingy and no spare rubbish bags! Although there were plenty of compost bags. All other cottages I have stayed in with Welcome have had more than enough of both. Despite these niggles, we had a great time in Whitstable and found plenty to do. My granddaughter was very happy with the toys provided and the outdoor space was great for her and our dog to run around in. Nice and safe for them both. Another plus is although a very central location it was lovely and peaceful at night time.

Lovely house, good location, a great week away. Only blot on the horizon was parking, Whitstable is very full of cars, we would have been happy to leave the car in a long stay car park but the cost would have been prohibitive.

The house was situated in the ideal part off whitstable, the house was furnished very modern but we found the sofas in the lounge and dining area very uncomfortable, also it would off been nice for the heating to be on a timer so it was warm when we arrived exspecially this time off year January, took a long time to warm up and radiator in living room was cold. Also the lock on the back & front door needs attention.
