There is one parking space available for guests through the wooden gates to the property, so park up with ease and take in the peace and tranquillity, before unloading your bags into your home-from-home.

The property is furnished with comfortable furniture throughout. Stock up the cupboards and prepare your favourite meals in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with electric oven, electric hob, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. For a stay in a traditional Northumbrian setting Rose Cottage is ideally placed to visit the many local attractions which include castles, stately homes and Northumberland National Park. Woller is a delightful market town with excellent food and antique shops, cafés and restaurants. It is on the banks of the River Till which is a tributary of the River Tweed. The Cheviot hills arise behind it with the long distance walks, the Pennine way and St Cuthbert’s walk. Within easy reach of Hadrians Wall, Keilder Forest, Edinburgh and Newcastle the cottage is well placed to explore all the possibilities of the area. Whether walking is your interest, or visiting one of the seven castles in the area, there is plenty of tourist information available to guide you round. The stunning Northumberland coast line is within easy reach, visiting Bamburgh or Dunstanburgh castle, eating kippers in Craster, visit Holy Island or just walking along huge empty beaches there is something to suit everybody. Bike hire and fishing are both available locally. Berwick is an interesting town with its unbroken Elizabethan walls, good shops and cafés, or Alnwick for Harry Potter fans with themed events, the unique Alnwick Gardens with its tree restaurant.
