Great little well equipped cottage located in my favourite village. Its fairly tiny though, especially if you are 6' tall or over.....but that's part of its charm I think. Beds were amazingly comfortable and the owners super friendly. I'd happily stay there at any time of the year. Overall, brilliant.

Beautiful clean, comfy cottage that had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday close to Loch Ness. Host friendly and left a wonderful basket of goodies for adults, child and even pet dog! Fresh flowers too and a lovely large enclosed garden that we took full advantage of eating el fresco a few evenings. ❤️ Highly recommend

Amazing chocolate box cottage. Space perfect for 4 and 2 active cocker spaniels. Garden lovely and dog friendly. Location perfect for exploring the highlands and the local area. Beds so comfortable and furnishings lovely. My husband enjoys cooking and was very pleased with equipment . Welcome pack for humans and doggies was much appreciated. Hosts were lovely too and were there if needed. Overall a perfect holiday in a perfect cottage. My only issue out of 3 local bars only 1 would allow dogs. This is no way an issue for the cottage though .

Our second stay at Rose Cottage and another wonderful week. The cottage was perfect again, loved the new kitchen. Explored further afield, Dornoch was absolutely beautiful, highly recommend a visit there. Also Fort George was really interesting and a great spot for dolphin watching. We will definitely be back for a third stay sometime in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Instructions for access were very clear, the cottage was very well kept, with more amenities supplied than we had expected, and we loved the wood burner on an evening. The owners were very friendly and helpful, sorting out little snags quickly. For the time of year (late March) the local amenities were good - the season hadn't really started. The new supermarket in the village was close by, too. Even the weather was kind to us, and the dogs enjoyed the pet friendly café and pub.

This is a beautiful cottage with a warm welcome. You are greeted with a hamper of bread, milk, biscuits, wine and homemade jam. Lots of attention has been given to make the cottage feel like home. A spacious cottage suitable for a family of 4 with a couple of dogs. With a large and secure rear garden there is ample of room for children and dogs to run around. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of cupboard space and lots of surface. Living room is a good size with a wood burner. If you don't want the wood burning lit then there are radiators that can be used to take away the chill. Bathroom is a good size with a shower over the bath. Both bedrooms have ample space for moving around. There is a wonderful quirkiness with the old floor boards not being quite level. Off road parking is an added bonus. The cottage is within walking distance of Drumnadrochit. Great pubs, cafes and restaurants. It is advisable to pre-book in the restaurants, even out of season they are soon booked up. The location is great for walks, activities and sightseeing. So much to do and see on your door step. I would certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay at Rose Cottage. It was ideally located and very comfortable and clean. The cottage had everything you could think of, and most importantly to us a dog proof garden. We received a lovely welcome pack including delicious home made jam. Would definitely recommend people stay here.
