Hoseasons " Enjoying a pretty coastal village setting and just 500 yards from the sweeping sands of one of England’s finest beaches these cottages are part of Town Farm Cottages which were created from a 17th century stable and coach house. An ideal holiday base these attractive cosy and comfortable properties five of which we offer here sit on a courtyard in the heart of Beadnell village a popular venue for water sports enthusiasts and boasting a picturesque harbour as well as a shop and two pubs serving food – all within a few yards’ stroll. Two miles to the north Seahouses offers a variety of shops and tea rooms a leisure centre and superb golf course and boats depart regularly from its working harbour for fishing trips or to visit the Farne Islands’ famous seal colonies and bird sanctuaries. A further 3 miles up the spectacular coastline a deservedly recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies Bamburgh – dominated by its splendid castle – whilst the causeway leading to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a little further. An easy 12 mile drive south reaches the market town of Alnwick with its castle renowned as the film location for Hogwarts School and beside it Alnwick Gardens an exciting contemporary space featuring gloriously vivid planting stunning water displays and one of the largest tree houses in the world. A wide variety of day trips from exploring the historic towns of the Scottish borders to shopping at Newcastle’s Metro Centre are also easily accessible. \nGround floor Livingdining roomkitchen. We had a fantastic stay at Rose cottage. It was brilliantly situated for us to explore the local area as well as spending days on the beach. The parking was fine - as long as everyone parked sensibly! We went with family who stayed in the cottages next to Rose so it worked brilliantly for us.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at Rose Cottage, the village is perfectly situated to explore the area and it's a lovely quiet village with excellent facilities - cafe and pub round the corner, well stocked convenience store down the road and an excellent playground for children. The cottage itself was lovely and cosy and just right for a lovely Easter break away.

2nd time at Rose as last time it snowed so didn't get to appreciate the area. V good location for long beach walks. Grt pub across road. Clean tidy cottage. We had a power cut whilst there and the main issue was not been able to contact the right people as details wrong on notice board.

Lovely place, great location. Ideally situated to visit the stunning coast. Only slight problems were the time it took for hot water to come through the taps ( sometimes several minutes) and the lack of individual designated parking meaning that when all the cottages were full ( some with two cars) we needed to park away from the cottage some distance around the corner.
