Located in the township of Scullamus on the outskirts of Broadford, and just minutes from all facilities, restaurants, pub, supermarket, chemist and post office. A short distance from the lovely stretches of sandy beach at Ashaig where you will see an abundance of seabirds such as waders and oystercatchers to name a few.
It is a great base from which to tour both the Isle of Skye and Wester Ross, with Plockton, Glenelg, Lochcarron, Dornie and Applecross all within driving distance and offering a great day out.
The area has so much to offer with an abundance of wildlife, including buzzards, golden and sea eagles, otters, red deer and so much more. Boat trips from Elgol will take you into Loch Coruisk in the heart of The Cuillins mountain range. This impressive loch is the spiritual heartland of the island and has been voted by National Geographic as one of the top ten most beautiful places in the world. Marine life such as porpoises, seals, dolphins and whales are frequently seen from the boat trips from Elgol.
