This is a lovely, comfortable cottage and had just been redecorated so looked very smart and fresh, good parking facilities, owners only too willing to help. Very quiet area with plenty of woodland walks and able to walk across parkland to pub and Restaurant. This is our third visit and will return.

A great cottage in a wonderful location. Beautiful views, very peaceful. There is no log burner as stated in the description and no washing machine. A very warm, cosy cottage which we look forward to staying in again. The upstairs bedroom is tiny and only suitable for two small children.

Really disappointed with this holiday. The DVD player was broken, owners didn’t reply to texts for several days, kitchen poorly equipped, dishwasher was hopeless. The heating was very archaic and insufficient, not enough hot water for baths, Neighbours can be heard easily through the walls, no privacy..all the windows are overlooked so you have to keep the curtains closed, nearest supermarket is not walking distance. There was no hand soap, no cleaning equipment in the kitchen (scouters etc) no bin liners. No coffee sugar or basics on arrival. The only nice things are a comfortable double bed and clean towels.

We came to stay for a brief three day visit and found the cottage exactly as described. We were very happy with the amenities, the bed was very comfortable and Sky TV was a bonus. Good wifi too. Very close to virtually everything you could want and in relation to the area, very good value for money. The owners are nearby and available but let you be unless you want anything - that suited us. Beautiful, quiet, dark at night, unexpectedly rural and so, so peaceful. We would 100% rebook when we come back.
