Conveniently situated within the Old Town of the village of North Ballachulish and very close to the scenic splendour of historic Glencoe, this cosy studio with its own outside seating area enjoys the most stunning views over Loch Linnhe and the mountains of Glencoe. An ideal location to serve as a base to tour around the west Highlands and islands of Scotland, it is only a short drive from Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK, and Oban, the Gateway to the Isles.
This bijou wee studio is only a few minutes from Ballachulish, which is well-served with a Tourist Information Centre, gift shop and café offering great quality food. Nearby there is a shop, Post Office with cash machine and a warm, friendly bar serving food. These two studios have their own separate entrance accessed by external steps at the side, which allow guests to come and go as they please. There is also private parking for one vehicle per studio.
Surrounded by nature, you’ll enjoy different views from each window and will spot wildlife wherever you walk! This welcoming studio is tastefully furnished and very well equipped, providing open plan accommodation with a comfortable feature double bed, small sofa, TV and a modern tiled shower room. To assist you in planning your stay, the owners have provided a guest information folder as well as a small library of books and board games for those lazy days inside! There is shared access to another raised decked area looking over beautiful Loch Linnhe, with a gas barbecue and picnic table, an undercover cycle store, an outside drying area, an ironing board/iron and a freezer.
The Lochaber area, where this delightful apartment is located, is enjoyed by walkers of all capabilities who can access routes suitable for all abilities. Ideal for the more adventurous guests too, being just a few minutes’ drive from various outdoor activities at Ballachulish and also Glencoe Mountain Resort, which offers exciting activities all year round. Just up the road is the National Ice Climbing Centre, and The Dragon’s Tooth Golf Course is located just 1 mile away. There are numerous munros to climb within a half hour drive from and the Ben Nevis Range is also within easy reach. Cyclists can easily access the National Cycle Route 78 and there are mountain biking and skiing ranges at Aonach Mhor and Glencoe. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
