We stayed only 3 nights in Winter but were warm and comfortable. Very pleased with our choice. Kent is a beautiful county and there were many choices of things to do.

Lovely cottage friendly host everything we needed for a relaxing week

This is the second time we have stopped here. This time we stopped longer so we could visit the local EH and NT properties. The place is cosy and so quiet that we overslept a few times. The owner is nearby if needed but otherwise we only saw her on our arrival. We will definitely be visiting again in 2021.

We have stayed in many rental cottages but Rowley Plain is the best yet! A warm welcome from Rose and milk/biscuits/dog treat were much appreciated. The cottage has absolutely everything you need for you stay. Rowley Plain is very spacious but also wonderfully cosy. The conversion has been carried out to the highest specification and the finish is excellent. The property is immaculate. We would move in tomorrow!

Great cottage in a very quite part of Kent. Plenty of National Trust places to visit, that are not too far by car.....the garden is secure so if you have a dog then it's ideal.

A lovely cottage in a quiet area. Looked brand new and so clean you could eat off the floor. A pleasure to come home to at the end of the day. Excellent big comfortable bed.The kitchen was really big so I would have put in a dishwasher, there is a washing machine. Very pleasant owner too. Lots of castles and gardens to visit very close by. Popular with dog owners although we didn't have one. In the winter it has double glazing which prevents the windows from opening ( I think). Maybe this is because it is a listed building. Would love to come again.

What a super cottage. Very big for two people, well stocked, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. A peaceful haven for a couple with a dog.
