    Set within a stunning wine domain in beautiful settings, this is the only holiday apartment, and enjoys private use of the large swimming pool overlooking the vineyards and olive trees. There is also a restaurant serving local produce near the apartment, which is open in the evenings in July and August. The first floor wing accommodation is immaculate and very well presented. Its very large balcony is ideal for dining al-fresco enjoying a glass of wine that began its life only metres from the doorway. When at the domain the impression is one of being miles from anywhere yet the lively town of Saint Ambroix is only 600m, with shops, restaurants, and bars, some located on the pretty banks of the River Ceze (1.5 km). The possibilities for day excursion are varied and await in all directions. The Cevennes regional nature park is to the west and the Gorges de l’Ardèche to the east. If it is not just beautiful scenery that’s required head south to discover some of the most visited sites of France. The Pont-du-Gard, one of the wonders of the ancient world. Uzés famous for its pottery and impressive Saturday market which invades the whole of the town centre. The historical towns of Nîmes and Avignon are both within 80km, and only slightly further afield the nature park of La Camargue and the golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. Shop and restaurant 0.7km, café/bar 0.5km.

    An excellent holiday apartment right in the middle of a vinyard, can't get much better but don't expect total peace and quiet at harvest time.

    This gite far exceeded our expectations; it was situated on a working vineyard and although it was on the edge of the town it was surrounded by vineyards and was very easy to find - an important consideration at the end of a long journey.The owners were friendly, generous and discreet.There is shop on site selling wine, fruit juices and honey.The accommodation was spacious and well equipped.We enjoyed one of our best holidays yet at this lovely place.
