No smoking.\n This spacious detached bungalow enjoys a peaceful rural location yet is only a short distance from the holiday resort of Newquay. This property provides a perfect hideaway from where you can explore some of the finest beaches in the country or walk the most beautiful section of the coastal footpath with its rugged cliffs and secret coves. The surfing capital of Newquay has an abundance of shops and restaurants to satisfy all tastes. A short drive can take you west to Truro now the capital city of Cornwall while to the south you will find the famous Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.     Lovely location and cottage very clean and well equipped needs a few touch ups here and there but overall very pleased with our stay

    A great little cottage, tucked away in a location 10 minutes from Newquay that provides a feel of isolation and privacy. Though looking a little run down in places, the bungalow was well equipped and had everything that you would need whilst away from home, including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The cooker was very old and we laughed at reading the comments in the visitors book about the broken grill, especially when it actually broke totally on our third day. On contacting the owner, who visited that same evening, arranged for an electrician to check the terminal status of the cooker the next day, with a brand new cooker being delivered and fitted all within 48 hours - a very good outcome and well done the owners for such quick action. The bedrooms, lounge and kitchen were far larger than expected, with the beds being very sturdy and well sized, though the mattresses may be coming to the end of their life. There were enough comfortable seats for everyone in the lounge, along with a good TV and DVD player for our use. The experience would have been enhanced if there was wi-fi, especially seeing the price paid, though with 4G coverage make sure visitors have sufficient data available. Overall a great week away, we loved the location and for the best part everything about the bungalow, with a few tweaks it would be outstanding. Would we stay there again, yes definitely.

    We had a fantastic week with gorgeous weather. The cottage was comfortable with plenty of room both in the living area and also in the bedrooms.
