Other attractions include a bowling alley theatre and boat trips to see the basking seals sandbanks and famous red and white striped cliffs as well as beautiful coastal walks and stunning sunsets. Hunstanton has a wealth of shops cafes and restaurants.\n\nFamous for its hue skies unspoilt countryside and pretty villages North Norfolk is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The Wash a Site of Special Scientific Interest both offering easy to reach attractions to suit everyone.     The smallest accommodation we have ever stayed in, nevertheless Sand Martin was very clean and comfortable and perfectly satisfactory for a couple. It was also very quiet (we went out of season) despite being located in a residential/caravan area. From the bungalow, it takes just a minute or two to walk to the beach, or just a few minutes in the opposite direction if you want to avoid steps. Hunstanton itself was a pleasant place to stay; the usual seaside resort activities didn't dominate too much and the small town has a range of shops and places to eat, and includes a couple of supermarkets. We enjoyed the sunsets, visiting the striped cliffs and also touring the local area and coastline. Although we don't have a dog, it was noticeable that the area was very popular with dog owners so you may want to take this into consideration if you have a four legged friend or two to take on holiday! We would certainly return to Hunstanton if we want another seaside break.
