Excellent cottage with lots of space and a superb, fully enclosed garden and wonderfully quiet location. The location was perfect for us as amenities, pubs and beaches easily accessible. Loved the rustic feel but slightly let down by the cleanliness (cooking utensils and pans had to be cleaned before use) and found the beds quite uncomfortable as the mattresses had seen better days. Also no firewood or dishwasher tablets provided. Would definitely like to stay again but only if mattresses were replaced as this did affect our enjoyment quite significantly.

A beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting, with birdsong in abundance. The cottage is well maintained and furnished in keeping with it's age. Garden is secure making it safe for both children and dog, with plenty of seating which was really appreciated in the glorious weather we had. The dining area was spacious and light, but was a magnate for flies, not so pleasant. Granddaughter of 4, managed to master the skill of riding her bike on the lovely quiet lane around the cotrage. A perfect situation if peace and quiet are what you need and ideal for a 3 generation family holiday. The only issue was access with a wheelchair.

Lovely quirky cottage with lots of room downstairs. would like to have had a clothes line or some airer to dry things if washing machine is in use.

We really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous cottage. We were a group of adults but it is equally perfect for a family with children. There is also a single downstairs bedroom next to one of the bathrooms which is perfect for an elderly guest. It's reasonably remote but perfect for a quiet stay with no light pollution so perfect for star gazing. Loved the log burner too. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

Third year running we have stayed here. We love the remote location and the peace - being woken by birdsong is a treat. Although the house shows some signs of ageing, there are also some new features such as the USB port plug points. Overall we still love staying here, and plan to do so again.

We had a very enjoyable week in this quaint cottage. However our holiday started with a clean of the kitchen and bathrooms. The towels provided were minimal. One bedroom had no working heating which during a wet windy week was a little uncomfortable. The location is in beautiful rural countryside.

Great venue for an all ages family break. Very much a home from home property. The owner is extremely helpful and provides basic tea coffee etc to get you started plus two Norfolk specialities - cake and cider. This was our second visit and we will be visiting again.

Lovely big cottage, with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Excellent facilities and very comfortable. Bit"out in the sticks" so take what you need or you'll have a bit of a drive. Good base to explore east Norfolk. Lovely garden, which my granddaughter enjoyed. Clean, comfy, cosy, everything you'd expect and more.
