Electric oven. Mwave. Balcony and furniture. On road parking at cost. Welcome pack. No smoking.\nThis third floor beachside holiday apartment is located on the picturesque coast at Broadstairs. Eagle House was once known as Admiral House as it was used as the headquarters for the Coast Blockade in the 1800s. The block occupies a unique position situated directly on the beach yet only one flight of stairs away from ’The Parade’ a pedestrian path with amazing sea and beach views and comfortable surroundings. Guests can also relax on their balcony whilst watching the boats pass by. This property sleeps two people and is in a great location for a coastal getaway. The flat is situated in Viking Bay with fantastic sandy beaches and in the heart of Broadstairs boasting quaint local amenities. Local attractions include the famous Folk Week which takes place in August and for golfers Sea View is within easy reach of four well-known golf courses including St Augustine which has hosted the Golf Open in the past. This property is also ideal for walking enthusiasts with Thanet Coastal Path close by the longest continuous stretch of chalk coastline in the country. Also the Viking Coastal Trail is a 27-mile walk passing through Viking Bay which is where the property is situated. Cycle the Viking Trail surf at Joss Bay enjoy the fireworks on summer evenings as well as the Dickens Festival. There are good rail connections to London. There is roadside parking 250 yards away at cost or free roadside parking in the area.     Absolutely great location right on the beach 2 mins walk from all shops bars restaurants. Easy to find and locate the keys to the property.

    This apartments main appeal is its location, situated right on the beach, you cannot beat it. The apartment could do with some updating namely the two sofa's in the lounge and on our visit the shower was missing its plinth which didn't make it look that attractive plus there was no shower mat or bath mat provided to help prevent slips (we had to go and buy our own when previously they were provided). We have stayed at this apartment a number of times now and were always welcomed with a welcome pack of milk & bread etc but this seems to have stopped, there was't even any tea, coffee, sugar or even basics like washing up liquid provided so we had to make a trip to stock up on essentials straight away - was a disappointment after a long journey not to even be able to make a cup of tea on arrival - overall though a good stay and we especially enjoyed the new patio furniture on the balcony.

    the apartment seems to be under a period of updating .The biggest disapointment was the balcony which we were both looking forward to .There was only one usable chair the other was on the balcony but broken ,there was also a broken deckchair on the balcony and the pair to this had been built into a cupboard (unbelievable). This would also be a difficult apartment for an older person as unloading your luggage is quite difficult as there is no parking and quite a walk with your luggage and also the stairs.

    Although we enjoyed our week in Seaview it was more to do with the view and the location rather than the flat. There were some good things about the accommodation, the bathroom though quite dark has an excellent shower and was very clean, the kitchen area and cooker were also clean. As for the bedroom we were greeted with a bare mattress, unemptied bin and floor which clearly hadn't been cleaned. On the balcony there are 2 mangled broken rusty chairs, why haven't they been removed and replaced? (chairs in your picture don't exist! The flat needs refurbishing: the heating (scalding hot or nothing) the sash windows, uncomfortable sofas, chairs. Sometimes the loo didn't stop flushing. Property instructions out of date. We stay in lots of holiday accommodation and in comparison Seaview was not up to scratch and therefore not good value for money.
