Superlative location, very comfortable cottage. If you can afford to pay twice as much, there are recently refurbished swankier properties nearby. But this had everything you need for a very comfortable holiday with great views & nearby walks, and at a very reasonable price

We had a lovely stay at Seahaven. Just waking up to the amazing view gives it a 10 from me. The house is kitted out well, and although one of the beds is rather uncomfortable, the place was extremely clean and generally it was a lovely place to stay and we would happily return. Craster has no real shop to speak of although the local café sells a few bits and pieces and seems like a nice place to eat. There is a nice looking pub, a seafood restaurant and a little place selling the local kippers near the visitor centre. Everything else requires a trip in to one of the nearby villages which is not really a problem. Finally, there is the gorgeous walk to Dunstanburgh Castle. The views are stunning and the castle is well worth exploring. There are several other castles with in a few miles and lots of beautiful coastline to enjoy. I would definitely recommend a stay at Seahaven.

Unfortunately had to shorten our holiday by a day due to illness. Can’t praise our stay enough as everything was catered for. Will definitely book again and have recommended Seahaven to all our friends.

Beautiful cottage, amazing views. Very family friendly, toys and books in the bunk bedroom were a lovely touch, our youngest really enjoyed playing with them. Would definitely book again.

The Cottage was in an amazing location right by the sea. The cottage itself was quite clean. In the village there is a small cafe which does breakfasts and lunches but not a shop. Nearest is Alnwick about 10/15 mins away. There is a log fire in the cottage which when lit heats up the radiators in the house. (Read instructions). Sunrises from the cottage over the sea are amazing. Lastly I found the matress in the front bedroom uncomfortable. Overall it was a great location and lots of places to go for a walk.
