Beautiful cottage, extremely clean and well equipped. Welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. I've been coming to Avoch for years as my parents live there, and have stayed in a couple of different holiday cottages/B&Bs and this is by far the nicest. Already looking to book up again for next year.

This is my second stay at this beautiful cottage. It is very tastefully decorated and maintained. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. Parking at the door is a plus, so is the close proximity to the shore. Avoch is a very attractive village with quirky houses and lanes. A hit all round.

It was a very beautiful cottage. It suited our needs likes and dislikes completely. We met the neighbour who offered us help if we had any problems. Which was lovely especially as he was probably in his late 70's early 80's. Somebody put the blue bin out for collection. Much appreciated as I do like to recycle as much as possible either on holiday or at home. The cottage was completely as described. Very nicely decorated. Very clean. Very comfortable and homely. Extremely well equipped. We always get prepared in advance i.e. washing up liquid, soap and tea towels sharp knives etc. Everything was provided. The information folder was excellent. Very informative. I was almost wishing it was winter so that we could light the wood burner. Thank you to the owners for the welcome pack they provided. We were lucky to see the dolphins, seals and the salmon leaping from the water. Absolutely fantastic and beautiful cottage. Exactly as described in the advert. 10/10 just doesn't justify how wonderful it is. 100/10 I would like to think about booking the cottage again, probably in 2020.

Seashore cottage is absolutely lovely and Louise and Angus have been amazing hosts . We arrived to a surprise of bread , butter, eggs, milk, local beer and fizzy . A really warm welcome . Avoch is beautiful however there are no good pubs there but the bus service is really good or you can walk to Fortrose where there are places to eat . We wanted a relaxing week with stunning views and that is what we got . Louise also picked us up and took us to Loch Ness as we were without a car which was really kind . We will come back and stay at seashore. Also we saw dolphins swimming at Chanonry Point which was incredible.

Fabulous cottage in a great location. Had everything you could possibly need was spotless, comfortable and stylish. The only down side there was nowhere to go for for evening food so we had to drive. The local Indian takeaway however was excellent and we used them twice.

We had a lovely week at Seashore cottage, very comfortable, very cosy and that was without putting the log fire on. The cottage is beautifully presented, with the finishing detailing to a very high standard. The beds were very comfortable - medium firm I would say. The sofas in the lounge were comfortable though I’m not a fan of leather, too slippy, but I’m sure easier to keep clean. And the dining chairs were very nice to sit relax, and enjoy a meal on. I loved the shower, especially the rain fall part. Yes, as others have said you need to take the dog to the end of the street to get onto the shore/ green to walk them, but we knew that from reading the description before booking. Beautiful big kitchen that I enjoyed cooking in. As most dog owners will know we don’t eat out that much (unless you find a dog friendly cafe/pub), so cooking is the whole point of going self catering, and this cottage would have got five star plus, if it had a dishwasher. Yes, I know we knew it didn’t have one, thought there may not have been room for one, but in my opinion one could easily be put in, then this cottage would be luxurious. Lovely friendly neighbors, and the mini-mart shop at the end of the street a real plus. The welcome pack was appreciated, especially the Cromarty bakery granary loaf, totally delicious.
