No smoking.\n Lavender Place is perfect for beach lovers as the property is situated just a stone’s throw away from the popular sandy beaches in Broadstairs such as Viking Bay and Joss Bay. This lovely end-terraced cottage is also conveniently located close to the town’s amenities including a vast array of restaurants pubs and convenience stores. In traditional cottage style the property has families in mind and is located across three floors. The spacious bedrooms comfortably sleep five guests and all three bedrooms have the added charm of original fireplaces for decoration purposes. Lavender Place boasts a fabulous mixture of vintage and modern furnishings. There is parking at the front of the property for one small car and the train station is located just 400 yards away making the property easily accessible.\nEnjoy gorgeous coastal walks with the Thanet Coastal Path nearby which presents a continuous stretch of chalk coastline or for the more adventurous walker there is also the Viking Coastal Trail which is 27 miles in total including passing through Viking Bay. For days out nearby Margate is a short drive away where you will find Dreamland the much loved theme park situated along the beach front or you could visit the Turner Contemporary art gallery.     A great holiday cottage for a family seaside holiday. This place is so close to the town centre and the beach and yet it is quite tucked away. The cottage has been finished to a high standard. The beds are super comfy and the shower and roll top bath are great. I will miss the master bedroom...a lovely airy bright space with a definite feel-good factor. It is very useful to have a washing machine and there was never any shortage of hot water. It was spotlessly clean too. There is a pleasant outdoor seating area accessed via the kitchen. The owner is very helpful and keen that her guests enjoy high quality accommodation and great experience of the area. It may be useful to know a couple of things: the fridge is quite small for a family and so you would struggle to store a full weeks worth of shopping (for e.g. if you did an online shop for a family of 4/5). The Pathway is VERY narrow for driving, much easier with a small-medium sized car.None of the bedrooms have blackout blinds, or curtains and so do get very light, very early in summer. This will wake some people and not others! There are lots of nice places to eat in Broadstairs. There are several beaches close by to choose from. It was great to have a full beach day and then only a short stroll home to the shower and back out to eat. There is plenty to do in the area. We would stay here again.

    Lovely cottage in ideal position for seafront and amenities. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with plenty of room for a family with a nice outdoor area and parking. It would have been nice to have had it decorated for Christmas but we brought our own as we knew in advance. The only things that could have made it perfect were a microwave and a potato masher, especially if you have children, but we mangaged and had a lovely Christmas dinner and a very warm welcome from the neighbours. All in all we would definately come back again to stay. Thank you.
