Seraph Cottage is a two bedroom holiday home situated in the heart of Ilfracombe, opposite a pub, bar and restaurant, and close to it’s pretty harbour. This is an ideal base from which to explore nearby Exmoor National Park, and the beaches on the North Devon coastline such as Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. There are also plenty of sporting activities close by including the Tarka Cycle Trail, a choice of five local golf courses, fishing, horse riding and walking. Here you are perfectly placed to explore the whole of Devon and also parts of Somerset too.
Upon entering the cottage, guests will find themselves in the cosy living room which is furnished with a three-seater sofa, two armchairs and a 40" Smart TV. Grab the popcorn and spend an evening relaxing in this well-furnished living area. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and is fully equipped, whilst the kitchen table is a great spot for enjoying a family meal.
Guests will get a good night’s sleep in the beautifully furnished bedrooms. The double bedroom has a dressing table, wardrobe, chest of drawers and an en-suite bathroom, and the twin bedroom, which has an additional folding single bed (guests must bring own linen), across the landing has an en-suite shower room.
Ilfracombe has plenty to offer holidaymakers, so much so that some may prefer to leave their car parked up and spend their days wandering the town’s streets, browsing the shops, sampling the local seafood, relaxing at the beach or paying a visit to the interesting aquarium. Jump aboard one of the pleasure boat cruises that depart from the harbour and take in this beautiful coastline, or even take a day trip to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island.
For those who want to explore a bit further afield, the surrounding area is rich in attractions and places of interest, including Lynton and Lynmouth, Heddon’s Mouth, the picturesque coastal village of Woolacombe, which boasts a 3-mile long golden sand beach, the spectacular beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde, National Trust’s Arlington Court, Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. With lots of day out opportunities from your doorstep, make Seraph Cottage the base for your next North Devon holiday.
