Shawside is a classic Victorian Staffordshire farmhouse and barn conversion set in four acres of grounds with unrestricted views along a moorland valley and very few buildings in sight.     Beautifully restored farm house and outbuildings, done with care and an eye for detail. Stunning bathrooms and principal bedroom, comfortable living spaces and a kitchen with Rayburn that keeps the old farmhouse feel.

    Very peaceful location lovely scenery plenty to do walking or visits out and about. Cottage had a lovely cosy and relaxed feel Lazy trout pub fantastic food recommended to book

    Great stay here. Was exactly what we wanted remote but not too remote. Very quiet and peaceful. House was wonderful and big, had no issues at all. Great contact with owners very welcoming.

    The aga was temperamental which was a concern when cooking for the family, however when it was working then it was a joy to use.
