With spectacular views and set within the grounds of a small caravan park and only a short stroll from the quaint Aston on Clun and the local village pub, there is everything you need to enjoy a relaxing, romantic break away. Shepherds Hut 64 (UK32094) and Shepherds Hut 65 (UK32098) are each accessed via 5 steps which lead to the cosy open plan living space with a double bed, kitchenette and wood burner. They each have their own external shower and toilet and a decked compact balcony where you can relax and watch the sunset with the amazing views over the Shropshire hills.
Wayside Lodge (UK32099) is a single-storey detached lodge with an open plan living/dining room and cosy wood burner. The kitchen area has everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite toilet, the other is zip and link which can be a twin room giving greater flexibility. A shower room with toilet completes the picture. Outside is the decking and an enclosed garden with a bubbling hot tub.
Wayside House (UK32090) is a beautiful 5 star property with front and back gardens, bubbling hot tub, outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue. The property has beautiful wooden flooring in the entrance hallway and a well equipped kitchen which has everything you need to experience a perfect get away. There is a double fronted wood burner in the kitchen/sun room so you can experience roaring fires in both rooms as well as a cosy snug and living room. Off the hallway is a shower room with and a double bedroom. On the lower ground floor is a games room with board games, dart board and pool table where you can relax and enjoy some fun family or friends evening time. To the first floor there are four double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
This is the most idyllic place to stay for a perfect, quirky romantic getaway. A superb area for touring and walking with the added cycle trails to cater for mountain bike enthusiasts. Being within easy reach of the many famous and historic places which enrich this unspoilt county with Offa’s Dyke and Clun nearby. Craven Arms itself has some amazing and historic houses, including a round house, thought to be a recognisable rest house for pilgrims travelling between Shrewsbury and Wigmore Abbeys. Medieval Ludlow, with nearly 500 listed buildings, Bishops Castle and Knighton, are well worth a visit. Bridgenorth is also worth a visit, a town of two halves connected by a funicular railway. Fishing, horse riding and golf available locally. Easily accessible to the Welsh borders, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Ironbridge World Heritage Site museums and exhibitions approximately 30 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
